Euro Truck Simulator 2 cabin mirror view for adjusting seat position and field of view

Quick answer

Adjust ETS2 seat, mirrors, and FOV so you can see the road, dashboard, main mirrors, and trailer angle without extreme camera movement. Start with readable mirrors, a natural dashboard view, and modest FOV changes. If everything looks stretched or mirrors disappear, undo the last change.

Bad visibility makes every ETS2 task harder: lane changes, parking, reversing, roundabouts, traffic, and judging trailer angle. Seat and mirror setup is worth doing before long jobs.

Use this with Best ETS2 Settings and How to Reverse a Trailer.

Good visibility is a driving assist, not a cosmetic preference.

What To Tune First

  1. Seat height.
  2. Seat distance.
  3. Main mirror visibility.
  4. Dashboard readability.
  5. FOV.
  6. Optional virtual mirrors.

Do not change everything at once. Tune visibility on a short route, then park a trailer.

FOV Tradeoff

Higher FOV can show more cabin and mirrors, but too much can distort distance. Lower FOV can feel more natural, but it may hide mirrors on a single monitor.
