How to Get Special Transport Jobs in ETS2

Special Transport jobs are not just heavier normal jobs. They are scripted oversized routes with escorts, route restrictions, and a slower rhythm. They can be memorable, but they are not the best first job type for a brand-new driver.

Requirements

You need:

1. The Special Transport DLC.
2. A supported ETS2 version.
3. Access to cities and routes where Special Transport jobs start.
4. A profile ready for difficult wide-load driving.

Where Jobs Appear

Look for Special Transport job listings in the freight job menus after the DLC is installed. If you do not see them:

1. Confirm the DLC is installed.
2. Restart the game.
3. Check supported cities.
4. Make sure mods are not hiding or changing jobs.
5. Try a different city or garage.

How Special Transport Feels

Expect:

1. Escort vehicles.
2. Narrow route timing.
3. Strict lane discipline.
4. Wide turns.
5. Slow braking.
6. Less freedom to improvise.

Do not race the escort. Follow the route and give the load room.

Practice Before You Start

Before your first Special Transport:

1. Drive a normal heavy cargo job.
2. Learn retarder and engine brake use.
3. Practice toll booths and city turns.
4. Avoid fragile cargo until you can drive cleanly.
