DAF XF Electric

The DAF XF Electric is one of ETS2's clearest steps toward modern zero-emission trucking. In game, it is positioned carefully: you can drive it through Quick Jobs, but it is not yet a normal owned-truck career platform.

What Makes It Different

The XF Electric uses an electric driveline rather than the usual diesel engine and gearbox feel. That means smoother acceleration, a quieter cabin, and a very different rhythm compared with high-horsepower diesel trucks.

Current Limitation

ETS2's world does not yet have a full public charging network for player-owned electric trucks. Because of that, the XF Electric is currently best understood as a curated Quick Job experience rather than a full career replacement.

Best Player Fit

Drive it if you are curious about electric freight, DAF's modern cabin design, or quieter city and regional deliveries. If you prefer long heavy-haul routes with maximum range, a diesel XF, XG, Scania, or Volvo will still be more flexible.
