World of Trucks External Contracts Explained for ETS2

World of Trucks is SCS Software's online service for Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator. In ETS2, many players first notice it through External Contracts and community event pages.

What External Contracts Are

External Contracts are online jobs connected to your World of Trucks account. They can feel similar to normal deliveries, but they belong to the online service layer.

Event Pause Context

SCS announced a temporary pause for World of Trucks events in March 2026 while they work on underlying systems. That does not mean every World of Trucks feature is permanently gone.
